This is me playing Zero M2 and Loose Synths, the first and last tracks of Benga's Diary of an Afro Warrior CD (dubstep).

Someday I'll get around to uploading a video of how I usually play this, using a talkbox and my friends really expensive Telecaster.

more videos like this to come, many more not like this at all

  • you've got a good ear - the first part of Zero M2 is spot on. afraid i loose interest after that. would sound more effective with the track playing as a backing. good effort tho

  • @Seagerash thats a good idea

  • all u need is some ugly duckling wub-wub in the middle.. excellent effort!

  • i don't even like that part in benga's version, doesn't seem to fit really at all to me

  • Really? That's the beauty in that song.. It starts off with a dreamy jazz jingle.. All of a sudden, when you least expect it, it goes straight to head nodding madness. Dubstep doesn't need to be music theory accurate though.. Do you play any other instruments? or produce beats?

  • it is a nice wobble for sure but i just don't like how it fits into the song. its a personal problem really. ya i play many instruments and i try to produce beats sometimes, i play a lot of heavy blues/rock and listen to lots of strange underground bands and way too much dubstep. i've got two solid electronic songs, if you want to hear them and have good subs ill send em to you, but one blew my friends speakers the other day. headphones with good bass usually works though
