For many of us, the pace of life is just too fast to bother with manners. We're overwhelmed with news and communications, fast food outlets, and with no expenses available for expensive restaurants these days, people often assume that there is no need to worry about how we eat and how we entertain. However in a world of increasing social mobility, a knowledge of basic good manners and social conventions will guide us in acceptable behaviour, it is less obsessive now than in the days of our grandparents, but it still has a part to play.
Tessa tells us here how etiquette is simply the manifestation of good behaviour in any given society, and paying some service to it can lead you to being remembered for all the right reasons and not dismissed because of an embarrassing encounter.
If you are involved in any way with entertaining clients, don't miss this video where Tessa gives many tips on what's right and what's wrong. (no reason for this bold text, can't get rid of it!) www.success.tv
