What?! The Obama mandate forces Catholics to pay for contraceptives, abortions etc.. Under the guise of "Women's Health." Wake up, come on! Obama has the gall to try to tell Catholic's how to be Catholic. As far as your assertion about Jesus submitting to unjust laws is just plain lunacy. i admire the church so much for having churches in eastleigh in suburb of nairobi and extreme muslim place in kneya,,.such simple humble priests there and example to western priests,,.

wonder why the catholic church is no longer interested in africa. what ever about rich countries problems the situation i see of the poverty in africa and ignored by the church,.

they got start opening and investing and getting back to pure missionary and standing up for the poor and oppressed and condemning greed and courrupt despots,.each priest should put his feet on the ground in africa for a start,.and bring back then 10 commandments and forget the complex debates,.

Google "Pope drops Catholic ban on condoms" and read the article by the health gather website. The Pope has said that condoms can be used in order to prevent HIV; but there's no way the Catholic Church can know if it's being used to prevent HIV or as birth control, so it equates to condoning condoms.

i regret to say its highly hypocritical and shameful of cardinal dolan to seem to speak so strongly against the obamacare while at the same time inviting barack obama to the al smith dinner. the lame excuse he has given just doesn't cut it. i hope he doesn't expect the catholic vote to regect obama. please cardinal practise what u preach. am a very disappointed catholic to say the least. us catholic bishops, this is a work up call
