Agreed, very good tone, if not a bit on the brightside for me but then I am old.

change 1 of the preamp tubes to a 12au7 makes a world of difference and even a new speaker

with the crate what helps also is to change 1 of the preamp tubes to a 12au7 i did and it helps

@bubblezen Thank you, and very good point. This amp is based on an AC30, it's not a metal amp at all.

I think the main key here is using a treble in the style of Brian May, Clapton, Gallagher, etc.
