to each their own... I have a v8 miata and love it. Prior to the v8, I had a turbo for 10 years; loved it too. Prior to that, pretty much bone stock; loved it too. 3 different animals and I like all three for different reasons. I will say that in general, a v8 in a miata certainly doesn't ruin it.
