Self made Aquarium controller, based on ATMEGA16. Maded after several months learning AVR controllers. Working during last 6 mounths. With no problems.
Controlled Temperature, Food feeder (selfmaded), and Light. Calculation of spended power, and food reminder.

    i have no special hardware list, i have done this mainly from the head.

    There is nothing special, main work under MCU responsibility (Atmega), logic MCU->TRANSISTOR->RELAY->220v LINE. user interface with LCD. Most important for my, was MCU programming.
