@Mishy841 The Watchers were controling her during the first game in the canon ending, caim spared her life and became her guardian, because of his hate for her, she grew up fearing him as was her reaction to seeing him again in the second game as she had ran away from him at some point stabing him in his eye, the watchers tricked her into destroying the seals again in the second one, She thought she was redeeming herself, but she was unknowingly doing the same thing again sad isn't it.
