Unfortunately for Vancouver, Edmonton still had Ranford, Murphy, & Tikkanen plus new acquisitions Damphousse & Nichols.

As a long time Canuck fan, I always wonder what might have been with those early '90's teams, pre-1994. The Oilers just had their number that season even though the Canucks were first in the Smythe.
