Bangalore-Masinagudi-Bangalore - Part II

After reaching Masinagudi, it was time for a drive to Udhagamandalam/Udhagai/Ooty the popular hill station. Udhagamandalam is 30 kms away from Masinagudi. The drive from Masinagudi is through one of the steepest inclines in the Ghat section roads. In a distance of 10kms the driver will have to navigate 36 sharp hair pin bends. During the down-hill travel it becomes more challenging, as the vehicle is going through a steep incline. Chances of the brake drum heating up and getting jammed are very high.

PS: Ooty has lost its old charm :(
