  • I heard that even with the best techniques and technology for micrografts, there is no way to restore the density of the treated areas to match that of the donor areas. True?

  • @RK831 in a way yes. you can only move about 5000 hairs at a time and that has to replace about 50,000 hairs of loss. obviously, that is why technique: size/density patterns, angles, interlocking, shingling, etc. are so important not only to create natural results but also ones that look close to the density of the donor area, which i can oftentimes accomplish.

  • how can u solve hair thinning then?

  • that is a long answer depending on your situation. sometimes you can't if it is genetically programmed except for medical products like rogaine and propecia, the latter for men or to re-establish it with surgery, hair restoration. sometimes the issue is related to hormones or other disease. a consultation with a dermatologist or a physician specializing in hair restoration can be a way to start your evaluation.

  • hey thankssss so much i wanted to know of there is a way to find out if your hair follicles are dead or not...i had sudden hair loss a year back and it hasnt gotten better till now..i am only 16.....

  • the best person to ask is a dermatologist. almost any derm can handle that question.

  • u cant... it genetic

  • How much does something like this cost?

  • you're welcome!

  • this is not a "long hair" transplant if that is what you are asking. she just has more hair than most men do to begin with. just diffuse loss. the hairs you see there are her hairs she already has. we put hair between the existing hairs.
