Meet Sargon!

Meet Sargon! So basically I jumped this horse for the first time 5 minutes before I went into the ring to jump the classic which was kind of crazy- I've never had a catch ride happen that fast with such a quick warm up before a big class-- with only a couple warm up jumps I didn't have much time to figure this horse out-- in the warm up he needed a ton of leg to keep a rhythm (I was honestly exhausted and wondering how the hell my short little legs were going to keep that up all the way around) but the second we got in the ring he was a different horse- dragged me right to the base- almost past it a few times- (hence a couple super lovely chips). In time I'm sure I'll figure him out more! He's such a good boy! Definitely saved me a few times but takes some getting used to since he's a COMPLETELY different ride from Aurelia.

Anyway, let me backtrack and explain all this- after day one, Aurelia was pretty back sore so I had her injected and gave her the rest of the week off because we want her in perfect shape for Sac International next week. I was lucky enough to catch ride a few for the rest of the week. This one however, you will be seeing more of ;) I will definitely be riding him more in the future!

you rode that horse very well for just the first time riding him! he looked sooo good and smooth! it was like perfect till his hoof hit that pole :( but good job!

i honestly would have had no idea that this was the first time you ever rode this horse if i hadn't read the description. such amazing riding considering how fast you warmed him up!!! he's lovely i cant wait to see more of him!
