iPod classic resets during clock screensaver

Another problem I have with my iPod classic is that everytime I push the back button for two seconds (to go to the main menu directly) when the clock screensaver is on, the iPod resets.
However it's a strange reset because the display reboots in 4 colors (á la Windows 95), and I lose any rating and play count I had done for that session.
The firmware is 1.1.1

Sorry the quality is awful, I took that with my cellphone, I don't have a camera, but I believe you get the idea pretty well.

No we, esto parece que ya no tiene solución, luego con eso de que Apple abandona ya los iPods cada que saca uno nuevo, como ahora ya salió el Classic de 120 Gb está cañón que lo arreglen, si ni siquiera van a incorporarle el Genius, y eso que son los mismos sistemas operativos y el mismo hardware, ahí verás...

does anybody know how to fix this? My ipod randomly had the same screen but wont correct itself, it just freezes on that screen. Apple won't help me because my warranty expired 21 fucking days ago.

Did you ever get this fixed? My classic with firmware 2.0.1 reboots with the same kind of screen - but when I'm playing songs and not even touching the thing. Frustrating!
