great video dude, just a note... in the pre-chorus riff, the last note sounds different the first time he plays it to the secound.. so first time around its 557 putting your finger on the 4th string and second time around its 555 barring the whole note, and so on. try it! great lesson by the way

do you mute anything when you play the first open chord on the chorus? just wondering your preference if you mute the g b e and strum the whole guitar or only play d a d?

@littleredguitars2 I mean where you play D A D (E A D) open for the beginning of the chorus, you only strum those three with the top three strings unmuted, or do you strum the whole guitar with the top three "muted"?
I'm wondering which was easier when playing drop D because normally I just mute what I don't play and strum the whole thing, but because of the open chord I want to know what's easier.

@tosh61 as long as you're not hearing the extra strings, it doesnt matter. so do whatever feels more comfortable
