Forever Summer: Episode 17

*Thursday; 1:00 PM*
it's a holiday, because I want everyone to be off work:)

Nick: *Glides throught the halls to the living room and happily sits down on the couch next to Joe. Sits up straight and folds his hands together in his lap, acting like a giddy little girl*

Joe: *Slouching, still wearing his sweatpants and white pajama shirt. Eating oatmeal. Chews, disgustedly looking at Nick* What is up with you?

Nick: Joe! I'm just so happy. This is just a great world!

Joe: I don't find anything in this world particularly great...

Nick: *Ignoring that* And this world is so amazing, because of Selena.

Joe: *Glances at Nick, annoyed*

Nick: Just her mere existance brightens up everything! She's makes me so happy and I just want to tell everyone that she-

Joe: *Stands up and turns his oatmeal bowl upside down on Nick's head* Oh look. Not everything is as great as you thought, huh? *Jealously stomps to their room and slams the door*

Nick: *To himself* I get the feeling Joe isn't in a good mood today *Takes the oatmeal bowl off his head and goes into the bathroom to rinse the oatmeal out of his hair*

Demi: *Laying on her stomach on her bed staring at her phone, waiting for the screen to light up*

In Demi's Mind:
Okay Demi. Calm down. Don't be so needy. Maybe his phone's off. Or maybe he lost it in the couch cushions again. Yeah, that's it. He'll call once he finds it. I mean, why wouldn't he? He wasn't that mad, yesterday. When I told him Sterling kissed me, he was surprised, but he told me it was okay...

*FLASHBACK*
Demi: Are you sure?

Joe: Yeah... It's fine... I mean its not like you kissed him, heheh.

Demi: *Thought: it doesn't seem fine* Of course not. YOU'RE my boyfriend *Leaned to KISS him again, but he casually pulled away*

*BACK TO DEMI'S MIND*
...and for the rest of the night, he didn't touch me. He wouldn't hold my hand when I was obviously putting it next to his, and he didn't put his arm around me the rest of the night. It was like I was infected or something, and he had to scoot away from me so he wouldn't be contaminated. And when I left, early at 8 o'clock, he hugged me. A hug? Seriously.... Maybe he IS mad at me. But it's not my fault! Ugh. Demi, stop waiting and just call him!

Demi: *Realizes that she's arguing with herself in her mind, shakes her head, and picks up her phone to call Joe*
*
Joe: *Laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. Picks up his phone, see's that it's Demi calling, and hits the ignore button*
*
Demi: *Hears Joe's voicemail and ends the call. Texts him*
(A/N: D=Demi and J=Joe. This is their text convo)

D: Are you mad?
J: Yes
D: Are you mad at me?
J: No
D: Are you mad because of something that involves me?
J: Yes
D: Is it what I told you last night?
J: Yes :(
D: I'm srry. I shouldnt of told you
J: Well you did
D: I didn't want to lie. I wanted to tell you HE kissed ME
J: I told you it was okay demi
D: Then why are you mad?
J: I dont think you are telling me the whole story
D: Why not?
J: How long did the kiss last?
D: Like 5 seconds
J: that's why. it doesnt sound like you pushed him away
D: I was too surprised. Joe, please. I'm really sorry. I should of pulled away sooner, but I didnt. I messed up.
J: Okay
D: So are we still... okay? together? what are we?
J: Yes, yes, we've always been together. Nothing as stupid as sterling kissing you would ever change that.
D: then why do you still seem sad?
J: i'm depressed
D: Why?
J: Because I was stupid and didn't kiss you last nite
D: :) there's always tonight
J: See you @ 5
D: See you at five:)
J: :-D

Demi: *Closes her phone, satisfied. Then goes and gets ready for her night with Joe*

Selena: *Walking down her street, planning on casually walking by Nick's house 6,7, or 8 times:) Feels like she's being followed and turns around*

Follower: *Ducks behind a garbage can*

Selena: *Continues walking*

Follower: *Waits a few steps then walks too*

Selena: *Quickly turns around*

Follower: *Jumps in a bush*

Selena: *Hears them jump in the bush and continues walking, faster*


Follower: *Gets out of the bush and walks faster too*

Selena: *Turns around and see's the person following her* What are you doing here?

Follower: Watching you. *Breathes in* And Daayyyuuum have I been enjoying it.

Selena: You are such a creeper.

Follower: You know you love it. *Steps towards her*

Selena: No *Steps back* I really don't. *Turns and continues walking, now two houses away from Nick's*

Follower: *Walks fast and pulls on her arm* Come on Selena, break up with your boyfriend. You know you really want to be with me.

Selena: *Still walking* No, I want to be with someone who actually cares about me, not someone who thinks i'm just for show.

Follower: I don't think so. Come here

Selena: Leave me alone! *Now in front of Nick's house*

Follower: *Touches her waist* Not yet.

Anytime I get the chance, I will write a new chapter, and it would make me OH-SO- Happy, and motivated to write more, if I see tons of comments, ratings, favorite parts, suggestions, friend invites, messages, all-the-basic-stuff, when I DO log on. I hope you all are having an awesome summer, and don't worry, I'll make sure you will get more of FOREVER SUMMER and be able to find out what happens next:)
