Derren Brown fake?

Derren Brown Trick or Treat Season 1 Episode 4 reveals that the show isn't linear. Is the whole show fake or was it just this episode that's footage was messed up so they had to film it again? Comments are essential.

Actually it's more clever than that.. ultimately he decides which contestant gets Trick or Treat ahead of time.

Although you may not see it on this clip, both cards read Trick, but when its turned upside down it reads Treat and viceversa.

Next time you see a close up of the cards, check them out...

they both read trick AND treat. so even if he "cheats" its doesent matter. she will pick trick if derren wants it. what can i say, hes a illusionist.

@kmrastegar The person who posted this video is seriously trying to get some hits on his video.... dumb.... how can this prove anything.... this is just to make things more interesting...what he did with the girl after that is certainly amazing.... i wud have considred your find if u had showed us something in that regard....moreover derren never said he was a magician.... he understood something more about the mind.... and is exploring it....

@kmrastegar OR, Derren could have flipped it without the camera seeing it. "Oop, sorry, one second..." Either way, the card she picked had not flipped over. The first season's cards were an ambigram, of sorts, only instead of reading the same upside down as right side up, they read the opposite. So even if you picked the wrong card, Derren would just flip it over for you to see vertically, instead of horizontally.

impressive spot :) if you read his wikipedia page, theres a quote where he basically admits parts of his show are just plain faked. It kinda pisses me off. He likes to makes himself out to be a skeptic like James Randi but he profits off of peoples belief in his mental conditioning nonsense in the same way a medium might "channel the spirits of the dead". theyre both equally fraudulent.

They had to take probably several shots cause they probably laughed. But i think either way they also had to shuffle the cards several times until it came out like this. The edited version of course will be different. They probably picked a piece of this and put another piece that came out good after and it just happens that the cards were different. I think its real but since cameras are there of course they have to make a show out of it. Several takes!

@IchMacheZauber I too, am in my school's film class and I know that in order to get the film to the right time you must cut things out, and I don't really care about that park anyway. What I dislike about Darren is that he claims he is a magician when he is really just a higher-level psychologist. This is why our America is so ignorant, because people watch so much T.V. and believe in everything that is on it.
