Malala Yousufzai, a 14 year old student and children's activist from the town of Mingora in Swat was wounded severely when un-identified men opened fire on her bus as she returned home after school.

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming that it was due to Yousafzai's anti-Taliban propaganda and support for secularism. Malala is currently under treatment at a hospital in Peshawar as many across the country pray for the life and recovery of this young warrior.
