Mortal Kombat Cast

Fanmade cast for the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot. Formerly known as Mortal Kombat Devastation, the new title is simply Mortal Kombat and is a reboot of the game to movie franchise. Lets hope we get a better budget and afford these guys.

PS: Take note that I chose Billy Zane as Noob Saibot, not the Sub-Zero we currently know. He fits the Bill to play a darker character and he has the vocal talents for the character. Whenever he's wearing the mask he could easily be portrayed by a stunt double.

John Leguizamo I chose because reptile would usually be portrayed with the mask on. As a stunt double during fight scenes. JL would do voice work, and when the mask is removed, heavy make-up and CGI would make JL look like reptile. He has the Facial structure and voice for the part.

Tony Jaa is learning English. He may or not be good enough to play Liu Kang. But he has played Liu Kang before, as a stunt double.

Billy Zane I admit was a bad choice, but I chose him originally with the intention of considering him for Noob Saibot, the original sub-zero. He has this dark broodish tone in his voice. This was long before they chose actually martial artists for most of the roles.

@MrNinjafreak Probably not, but regardless of who they cast, chances are stunt doubles will be doing the martial arts. So I figure it'd be best to go with faces that match the characters.

Christopher Lambert is the true Rayden for the Mortal Kombat movies (better than James Remar who in all honesty I think would've made a better Fujin).

Carlos "One-Take" Pesina is the true Raiden/Rayden (as it's spelled in the home console 2D games) of the video games.

When it comes to Scorpion, it's tough to decide who's better between Daniel Pesina, John Turk or Sal Divita. I did like Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion in Legacy.
