  • He should have thanked Bryan Cranston for not being eligible that year.

  • Jon shouldve won! hes awesome in Mad Men and his episode was the best! he's incredible in "The Suitcase"

  • Well the 3rd, 4th and 5th seasons were the best. They didn't try to tackle the high school issues like an ABC family drama. I think he should have won for all 5. As well as Connie Britton. One of the best shows of all time. Chandler played Taylor like how Griffith played...Taylor. I've never seen a realistic character played as well as he played him. Congratulations.

  • @jkmeans I'd agree with this if 1)Chandler had been nominated every year, which isn't the case as he was ignored for seasons 1-3 and 2) Chandler did not turn in a great performance in season 5. The Emmys aren't very sentimental and very few actors win for their final season. The fact that Chandler did so after being off the Emmy radar for so long is impressive. And season 5 was one of his best. So I'd respectively disagree that it was a lifetime achievement Emmy. He earned it on merit.

  • early edition!

  • As much as I hate to say it, this is more of a "lifetime-achievement through the course of a series" award than anything else. FNL is my favorite show of all time. I like Dexter, Mad Men, and BWE, but knowing that this was FNLs last season, and Chandler nor Britton nor Katims or Berg having won anything, this was to recognize Chandler as he left Dillon for a large AAAA school in suburban Philly and Britton for Braemore (or Swarthmore)

  • I am a huge Dexter fan..and was sad that he didn't win especially for his performance in the first episode of season 5..and now that i have seen all the Friday Night Lights episode...I am happy that M.C Hall lost to Kyle Chandler..."Coach Taylor" was beyond amazing in every episode..<3

  • @JesMarie0087 You should see him in Homefront, now that's a good show!

  • I still think Timothy Olyphant should have won!

  • 75 people have neither clear eyes, nor full hearts and WILL LOSE
