I still hold out hope for bullpup rifles. Yes even the L85. I just watched a Russian-American demonstrate the use of the gun. It's a bit better than the AUG and FAMAS. But not quite reaching potential. The gun needs a Picatinny and aluminum. Then is will be cool !

Here's what I got from the video

Based on the AR series by Eugene Stoner and Enfield, it has an AR magazine and a bolt in the stock for a compact size. It is a high grade assault rifle with SUSAT sight.

Better than all AR15 varients, only the AK47 (cheap, reliable) and the XM8 (experimental super gun, based on G36 design) surpass the L85A2, and yes i have shot this weapon
