Forthefishes. The leading cause by far of coral decline in the wild is pollution, followed closely by over fishing. Many corals are captive bred and many people are willing to pay the extra for these types of animals. Responsible reef keepers are doing the world a service. You never know when it will be up to us to replenish the ocean with frags from our tanks.

Hi, I'm going to start fish keeping and I've chosen for a Saltwater Aquarium. Is the fish at 0:07 easy to keep and are there any fish suitable for beginners? Thanks, and congratulations on the beautiful tank :)
@dotsmart70 sorry for thee crap music, I don't know what I was thinking.

@michaelmp5 the name you're looking for is green star polyps or Starburst Polyp (Briareum sp.)

@fishstickschannel it's called the maidens hair plant (Chlorodesmis sp.) looks awesome but I had to get rid of it, it became a problem when it sheds it's hairs.

@dimitrislkarian in my opinion any types of algae is beneficial, it's your ecosystem that's responding to a nutrient spike, just keep on pruning and scrubbing. For all the algae that grows is the nutrients that don't stay in the water.

How much cost you a mouth to maintain the tank?
dibeli4ak 1 year ago
@dibeli4ak i dont even know how to calculate that, i bulk up on stuff so they last me a very long time (ex. bucket of reef salt, filter mesh, calcium and element dosing)
