1994 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible 2+2 with 6.0L and 4 Speed Automatic cruisning along a new two lane black top and then accelerating to just over 142+ MPH. The 6.0 litre V12 Cat still had plenty of power left in her (I've had her to 165) left in her too but our nice abandoned road was running out. The video is a little dark but it was taken at night, actually the original is actually very well lit (full moon night) and you can clearly see all of the details of the cars interior, the road, and all of the surroundings. It didn't get dark until after it was uploaded to YouTube. I'm afraid I don't know how to edit them to lighten videos back up. My cousin is addicited to my Sony DVD camcorder and sometimes gets in the back seat just shoot over my shoulder.

  • Do you know anything about the sportspack edition? Im interested in getting a 6.0L v12 jag? Any problems with the car?

  • Yes, there was only a few Sportspack editions brought into the US, I love them and never had a problem with it, or for that matter any of my Jags, this is my 8th.

One way to spot a sportspack car is of course the body color matched grille, they are all 6.0L V12's, they have a rear swaybar (amazinly most XJS do not have a rear swaybar at all, they just dodn't need them but you can imagine one with one) and the front swaybar is much larger, and the engine is super-tuned HO from the factory.

  • I tried that with my 6.0L in Australia at night and ended up with a kangaroo mounted on the bonnet next to the Jaguar. Nice wheels.

  • Ouch. Around here we have to be careful of deer but it wasn't the right time of year for them to be too much of a risk, we have times of the year when you'd never try this. Plus we'd just been up the same road in the other direction just beforehand so knew there wasn't anything out and about then.
