  • @whiteowlonfire

apple cinnamon or bangle spice tea might work, dont know, never tried it.

  • @KevinWirt

    molasses & oats!

Mix it, roll it into softball size rounds & place em out on a cut stump!

I smash em in so its harder for the critters to carry parts of it off else where.

& when it rains it soakes into the stump & will last for a LONG time! They will return year after year until they have chewed the stump to the roots!

  • Actually the best scent to use as attractant are tea bags. Deer absolutely go nuts and can smell them for miles. Try spreading tea grounds everywhere around the feeder, even experiment with coffee grounds. Let me know.

  • Mr. Edwards, Have you ever tried baiting deer with Molasses or Mineral block or anything like that? I just bought a big jug of molasses and "fresh apple" scent. I have found that both the Bucks and Does are attracted to them. However the Bucks seem to have claimed the Molasses as theirs.
