i mean even in the video itself it shows them with tea and cookies, and taking a bus trip somewhere, some residence playing in the snow on sleds, at a classic car show. So stupid how a video can say one thing and show photos to the contrary.

Yes what a horrible place full of rigid routine. wrong. maybe it's that routine is important to these men? it doesn't mean there still wasn't fun activities to be had, because there were, and plenty of them.

great video. poor view of the HRC though which Albert seemed to enjoy living at. I wonder how differently this video would have protrayed the HRC had they mentioned things like, trips to town and restaurants and the yearly beach program in which every summer the residence would go down to Huronia's own beach and participate in games and music and activities, as well as pontoon boat rides. the annual christmas parade held there by the staff. maybe the summer camp that they owned accross the lake?

Thank you for posting Albert and Berts transition to your group home...but upset about the kick in the stomach I just got, about how we looked after him at HRC...
its too bad this video tooks this view...I miss you Albert.... and u were loved as I'm sure u are now...
