snareblade: CPU/ram does handle how fast you shoot

but your network traffic determines whether or not those hits actually register in time to matter

and high levels of network traffic can also slow down cpu, because the windows network stack pauses all other work to manage network traffic first

so thats the point of the killer: making sure your hits count as fast as possible and making sure the network traffic isnt causing lag spikes to your cpu by bypassing the windows network stack

i have the best cpu and graphics card already, and still have an improvement from adding a killer, and if you bother to look for sales, you can find it for $150, not "$400"

Or you could just pay $10 for cFosSpeed and get the same result. My motherboard(Asus Crosshair IV Formula) came with GameFirst which is powered by cFos and it made a huge difference.

I have the Killer NIC been online gaming with it for 4 years. When I switch to other PC's or to onboard bare in mind high end systems too I920 5970 ect.

I notice if its not in the machine as opposed to the giga onboard NIC's. I have the M1 though not the new xeon one. Although I am going to buy one for another machine to see if its the same product.

I can tell you notice it when its not there everything is so much smoother.

my lag is different. My lag causes my actions to be delayed. So when i aim the crosshairs move like 2 secodns later and my aim gets all messed up. Also when i switch weapons they also take a while to show up. But this only seems to happen when i move. Any advice to fix this?

this card's main basis is that it offloads the cpu of the network cycles and processes. countless reviews from hothardware, anandtech, toms hardware all say that unless you have a minimum spec computer for your game that this card makes no difference. No faster downloads, no ping decrease, etc. this video was obviously done a shit computer
