You can have my eyes, you can stab my heart,
you can tear every limb from my body apart.
But the words of my lips you will never hold,
I am weak and scared but God makes me bold.
I will never deny Jesus, the Holy One,
though you threaten me with knife and gun.
I will always hold my bible, the Father's word,
until you call me home, then I fly like a bird.
Lord oh Lord hold me in your arms as I die,
I breathe my last, for your name I would not defy,
I will take the pain, for you have done so for me,
for you I will bear it as they beat me in glee.
A tattered worn bible has been used much,

@teedonster sex is the ultimate form of pleasure for man. to hold off on it in obedience to God is a minor sacrifice for what His son did on the cross. thats how i see it. and too me std's in itself is a good reason why you shouldnt be out there sleeping with as many people as you can. lust is like drinking salt water. no matter how much you drink your thirst will never be quenched. there will always be someone younger and prettier. it takes a man to love one woman and be faithful.

When you shift the attention & focus on God He can take away that desire. just like you can overcome a food craving you can fight the urge to have sex or masturbate. sure its hard but not impossible. me and my gf are holding off until marriage because i respect Gods commands and wish to obey Him. once again it falls on do you live for yourself or do you live for God. God created sex to be within marriage

@teedonster by indulging in pleasure i didnt mean rape. i meant passions of the flesh. giving in to any craving. True believers are called to serve others denying our desires n following Christ. man seeks to please themselves. we r all selfish in nature are we not? i hope im not sounding like im trying to argue. but dont you believe in justice? if your teacher never got caught for this act where is the justice? God is a just God. He will hold everyone accountable for their deeds on this earth.

i found out yesterday one of my secondary school teachers (im from the uk) has murdered his wife at christmas and put her remains in a suitcase, scary to think people just like him can appear just like anyone else, fuck the human race.

@teedonster it saddens me to think that there is no God. that would mean people who get away with murder or rape and then get old and die without getting caught just slip through the system and the blood of their victims will never see justice. and if their is no God whats stopping you from indulging in every possible pleasure this world has to offer and living like everyday is your last? because "we only live once right?" and im not a religious kook. i choose to believe that Jesus died for me.

and i agree with you that this is not a perfect world, but keep in mind that we are well on a way to a one world religion. universalism is well on its way into the world and many will turn to its appealing message of all paths leading to the same God. but do not be fooled...

@insertclichename the spanish inquisition called themselves Christians. lets look at the definition of a Christian: To follow Christ and His teachings. read through the new testament and tell me where it says its ok to kill sinners. because they claimed they were killing off heretics. Jesus spoke a message of repentance and salvation. N it was a choice that was to take place in your own heart. each one is held accountable. its not about religion. its about a intimate relationship w Christ.

Jesus never said to kill in His name. or if they believe otherwise torture them until they recant. on the contrary Jesus says to pray for those who persecute you. which means that if your a believer and someone is ripping out your tongue for being a Christian, you should pray for him so that they might be saved. Humility is the underlying tone of Christianity. i pray you will feel the love you Christ one day brother.

This is why Religion is such a BS invention. There are extremists on both sides, not just against Christians but everyone. They all do it in the name of god and in the end they are justified for killing for their religion.
