PHILIPPINE LAW MAKERS - Amend the NATIONAL DEFENSE ACT 1935. Abolish the 3 years term of Enlistment which was designed before the World War 2. Today about 90% of of the Rank and file soldiers of the AFP are college graduate, they need a term until their retirement age. They need to be appointed just like other government workers.

They also live in a country where the battleground is not in your backyard like the PhilMarines. Check your fire Marine and look at history before you open your piehole. The republic they protect was created only 62 years ago. 62 years since 1775, US Marines were not even considered "legends in their own right". We had to wait til WWI to be respected. The PhilMarines have a tough mission. Respect.

Roger that. I am a United States Marine of Pinoy heritage. We have nothing but love for the PhilMarines. My buddies that HAVE done training exercises with the PhilMarines all respect. I wish I had the chance.

PhilMarines: "Do more with less". "adapt and overcome". We use those words as Marines but yet our supply is plentiful. The mindset is there for US Marines. However, the Phil Marines are truly "doing more with less" and kickin ass, too. Semper Fidelis. Time to PT.
