  • geez for this shitty quality, i cant believe someone is selling this shit on kijiji,ca for $1,000

  • actually this is due to poor rendering. That and the fact when I uploaded this, youtube didn't offer high definition videos. if you want to see it in high def, check out my other video "A Day in Chicago" or "Avenue"

  • Hey, Louis! I watched a couple of your films and I really think they're great! May I ask you for tip? I really want to make films as well, so I'd love getting a Sony HDR-FX-1, but its expensive)), so I thought of the GZ-HD-7. Are there other cameras to look for if you have about the price of GZ-HD-7 and want to shoot quality videos? With manual features, small number of mpixels amd comparatively large Image device size? (or what else should you take into account??) Thanks a lot in advance! :)

  • My opinion, save your money for the professional stuff. If you can. Currently I am saving up for the Canon XH A1, which falls under the price range of the Sony. If you want cameras that rival the HD7, you can look up the Canon HV20 and the new HV30. Though I believe the HD7 has more manual controls, The Canon's produce a better picture. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks a lot, Louis! I am getting excited about HV30 :)) Do you think its as good as the new HV40? Which would you choose? Thank you so much again!! :))

  • no problem but to be honest, I haven't looked into the HV series lately. I've been trying to save up for the XH A1 and I've been researching all of its competitors. Canon makes really good cameras so whichever one you choose, shouldn't disappoint!

  • Thanks for all this great info. Much appreciated friend.

I'm planning to buy a vid cam. I was looking at the Canon HF200 Vixia. How does that compare to the one you used here?

Can you recommend any? I like making videos and movies.
