Flavia Teixeira, female carpenter and joiner, for 12 years , giving you some tips of how to make a half joint easy and quick , working on site Making a half joint using a ozito unijaw vice , and showing you the trade secret. I am building a fence with gate for a client and wanted to show you some site action. Today my unijaw worked as vice and also as scaffolding, as my fence is 2.4m high built on uneven landscape.

  • It is called a Half-lapped joint people, and this is only half of it I am sure beginners would be confused. you obviously have sills though. Cheers

  • I was expecting to see a half joint at the end of this. All I saw was a bit hacked out of a piece of wood.
