Hi - I know your comment is 8 months old now, but I saw it and need to help you out:
Garritan Personal Orchestra is not a collection of "midis"--it's a sampled library of all of the instruments in a classic orchestra, plus piano and harp (which aren't strictly in the "classical orchestra category.)
There are MANY brass instruments in it. But of course there aren't world instruments and choirs, because those aren't to be found in orchestras.
I'm talking about the full GPO, not small versions.

what annoys me about the midis that come with garritan is no brass section and no world instruments and no choirs
anyone know where i can get some for free?

Can that ribbon controller be replaced with an expression pedal? Just wondering, it would be nice to have both hands freed up.

there are keyboards with input for an expression pedal.
if you are into midibox, its should not a problem to substitute a 10K pot with a standard expression pedal, without additional equipment such as ac sensorized used to handle the ribbon
