The Race Across America 2009 (the toughest bicycle race in the world) was attempted by men and women from around the world, who work in a wide variety of industries and range in age from mid-twenties to 78 years old. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! 78!!! If I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes - I wouldn't have believed it myself. The PAC Masters was a team of 4 men with an average age of 75 who, together, rode more than 3000 miles from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD. Though several younger teams were unable to finish the PAC Masters proved that age should NEVER stop you from accomplishing your dreams.

*** NOTE: This package was done out of the back of an SUV with a satellite. As a member of the media crew, I slept 3-4 hours every 36 and edited my own pieces (an average of 5 a day) while battling motion sickness and driving through deserts, plains and winding through mountain range passes. It was also the first time I had every edited my own pieces ... so nothing is perfect. This was an incredible job that stretched me in every way!
