Transformers - Optimus Prime Fondant Birthday Cake

3D cake modeled after Optimus Prime of the Transformers.
I used about two sheets of cake and built it to this shape. I had help in making the flames- his version is much nicer than the one I made..so we ended up using his version.
cake was airbrushed using kopykake airmaster compressor and paasche singe action airbrush

OHHHH MYYY GOOOOOOODNES! I have a lot of HOWs in my mind. WOW. I am speechless.

This is the BOMB! Totally awesome (said that a million times already). I have no idea where to even begin with. BRAVO! BRAVO! As you can see in my reaction, I am very very impressed.

There are many things I love about this cake. The board is awesome, how did you do it? Is it even gumpaste/fondant? It was such a perfect accent. I also love how seamless the fondant is. I cannot see any seams. Your sculpting

YAY! im happy this passed the Rylan test :) when we make cakes..don't we always get that feeling of dread before we see the final product? esp when we know the mistakes we made--- i was SO THERE! i just pressed on and still tried to pull it off despite the errors. Mayen, we beat ourselves up too much. I made a cake this past weekend and I couldn't sleep because the first tier was slightly slanting. The people loved the cake. They said the taste was incredible. They loved the colors and I don't think they noticed the slant. They were extremely happy and said everyone enjoyed every scrap of it. You do remarkable work. However it comes out, you are the designer and you can change any design. Nobody noticed the dimension until you pointed it out.
