@ProgLiberty Not neccessarily mate not all NDE's result in a Jesus type figure. i myself am anti-religion but a spiritual person you can have respect for the creator, god or whatever you want to call him/it without being religious. For all these experiences that are happening to people it would be ignorant to disregard them all. My own belief is life is a learning process. Science will never be able to prove or disporove life after death for the learning process would be obsolete

Jesus Christ is a modern creation for Christianity. Christianity has its roots in an ancient Egyptian religion that worshipped the sun. Therefore Jesus = Son of God = God of the Sun = Horus = Egypt sun god = sun. Therefore to see Jesus Christ or the Virgin Mary is simply a creation of the mind in order to understand the concept of the "Universal Life Force" that is a part of the Universal Life Force Dimension = Pure Energy at the quantum level interpreted as radiant light to a visiting spirit.

@JosephAllenCavin But to be able to accurately describe instruments that have not been seen (as the surgeons covered them prior to surgery... probably to calm the person down because sharp objects can creep people out >_<) and along with the story of the woman who saw the shoe on the roof. She couldn't have seen that because 1. She was dead 2. She was in the hospital bed. (Assuming the story is true. I've heard other stories like this confirmed by doctors in the hospital =O)

@JosephAllenCavin But how can you explain that discussion of the woman's NDE then? Because she saw a shoe on the building. The doctors there had eyewitnessed her death and her friends eye witnessed a shoe. (If it's a hallucinatory affect then she shouldn't have been able to percieve reality). Other accounts include where patients accurately described the instruments the doctors had been using on them (during a surgery, which the doctors admitted had been covered up prior hand).

@JosephAllenCavin Obviously it's ignorance. This guy's "proof" of the afterlife is rooted in children's drawings. NDE is similar to a dream state or a hallucinatory state. Few would claim that dreams/hallucinations are "real", but when you put God into the picture suddenly everyone is willing to believe it. THE NDE varies from culture to culture, proof that it is a product of the mind, and not a supernatural phenomenon.

When the guy says "they're real" he means "I believe what X said is real" or "I want you to agree with me that what X said is real".. You cant say something is "real" based on hearsay. It's ridiculous.

What are the "advances" in the "study"? To take whatever people say as truth and to promote Christianity? The video has bible quotes in it even though they admitted that peoples experience is based on their culture.

Why do I get the idea that all of this is basically to help turn people into conservative republicans who will throw record numbers of poor people in jail, wage wars for wealth, punish people for innocent sexual nonconformity, jail women and doctors for practicing family planning, etc, and not bat an eye, even while going on about all this goodness or badness... which happens anyway without the need for NDEs.

@Ducknbob8 the loving spiirt of God that is in thee looking out of your eyes speaking uplifting words is awesome ^^. When Satan,s negativity is displaced from our body that casts a shadow when light shines, peace will reign on this world with persecution, war, and hatred of whoever ceasing, and uplifting positive words will be given even as you are giving them. Then Jesus will save more souls when he comes back in glory. All things including the universe will change when the Lord comes back.
