This is a video of NASA's Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) launch on an Atlas V rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 4:05 am EDT on August 30, 2012. The video was filmed from the roof of the VAB, which is a 43 story building at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. As you can tell from the video, it was extremely windy up on the roof, plus it was foggy and cloudy. I took this video for fun while I was shooting photos, so the camcorder was left on its own for most of the launch, swinging in the breeze... sort of surprising to me that it managed to focus, given the conditions.
