@pogmathon100 You do not know much do you. The anti contaband patrol was supposed to be in international waters. They were armed and in Iranian waters which was not one of the belligerents. They were, therefore in breach of international law and were ordered to surrender by higher authority.

@pogmathon100 Agree 100% Nelson would be turning in his grave. Did he just surrender at Trafalgar to the combined Spanish and French fleets no he fought for his homeland. Iran is asking for trouble and it is just a matter of time they get nuclear capabilities so I don't know why we are sitting on our asses. I hope everyone in the Royal Navy realises what a disgrace the surrender of RN personnel was to the Iranian navy . This was a national humiliation. I know it is easy for me to say, but you signed up( as my father did in 1939) to defend his country, and if needs be die for it. You should have been prepared to do just that. I am 57 and I would do just that if some foreign bastard threatened me. I would have killed those bastards. We moaned about our ipods. It is not forgotton.
