  • I also have this guitar I got it before my mustang I'm disappointed in the varnish on this guitar it feels very much like rubber and scratches easy what's your thoughts on this ? I know it's probably to put chips in it but it feels like fake varnish if you get what I mean

  • @wipers86 sorry man I gotta disagree. I think the finish is high quality and not prone to scratching. I'm pretty happy with the guitar honestly

  • This or cobain mustang? Help!

  • @LoliconAV I'd lean towards the Jaguar if you can afford it. It sounds amazing cranked up

  • This guitar is a player, I think Nirvana is cool, but I played this guitar in GC and the neck was perfect. The humbuckers really made the guitar screeam. I wanted to get it so I could whip it out when I play live.. Its a shame yours isn't going to be played as much as it should.

  • @okamasphere You're right...it is a player...and I've now decided to gig with it because the sound is just amazing

  • @devinsetsfire63 Don't post stupid comments. I had a regular Jag and I would much rather have this model because it has much better hardware. Go troll elsewhere.

  • @BrewersArcade id rock a SRV anyday if they made it lefty, theres one right down the street from where i live and its awesome! the pickups in the cobain model are better than the junk in the HH models, its nitro sunburst with a binded neck with better tuners, and other than the junk jap single coil jags, what other lefties are there? the cobain jag is a better guitar hands down than any other production jag right now and looks cool, who cares whos sig is on it.

  • @BrewersArcade I find the top part of the guitar feels rubbery but the rest of the guitar is good

  • I can see what sets it apart from other jaguars, but what most people care about is how it sounds. You hardly played the guitar to let us hear the difference in tone. O.o You didn't even switch pick-ups or explain the controls.

  • you would think with them making it look authentic they would at least make the body feel authentic

  • @axlesteel12 many times on new guitars the frets will feel "sharp"...playing it over time will dullen the ends but you can also sand them down a bit...I would recommend taking it to a guitar repair shop.

  • Do your fret wires feel "sharp" on my KC jaguar they kind of do. Not terribly, but somewhat.

  • @LoliconAV Well spec wise I'd say the Jaguar but it is "aged"...if you are looking for a brand new looking guitar then I'd go for the Mustang. The Jaguar is gonna have more low end and beef to it but the Mustang has a JB JR humbucker in it so it's gonna scream too. If you call Musicians Friend instead of ordering online you can get 14% off for their Valentines sale! I'm getting the Cobain mustang for $859.00 w/ free shipping!
