I did it in the summer so it was a while ago. Sadly didn´t film much of the process but I hope it´s enough. I will try to make pure thorium from the thorium dioxide later.

  • i wounder if this would be better than getting thorium from lantern mantles .

  • nop it´s better to get the thorium from lanturn mantles, if you have any. Here in sweden it is almost impossible to find any lanturn mantles that contain thorium. That´s why I used this method.

  • I wonder if you could thororate filiments like what they do to vacuum tubes?

  • @mrmuffins007 very dangerous and never stops killing,, you are right!! SICK PEOPLE!!

  • this is in chemtrails and it causes 66% of fatal cancers do your research and I am sickened by this happy music as my beautiful dog is here dying from this horrific stuff. If she is, so am I and my other pets in a matter of time. For God's sake WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

  • @drright71 Oh I see, thanks.

  • Try to get the orange labeled WT40. They have, the most ThO2, 4%, twice much as your WT20.

And it's a good idea to chop the electrodes to tiny bits, to increase the surface area.

  • @mrmuffins007 Only if you eat or inhale it. The Alpha particles it releases aren't penetrating (ionizing) radiation. Though it does decay to radon (which is a radioactive gas you could inhale) over its 14 billion year half life. So in short, it's about as dangerous as bleach.

  • Mozart - Divertimento K. 136

  • Fredrik, Thx for posting this video...I love the Mozart too! You can't get thorium lantern mantles because of the Th-232 is a alpha emitter?
