argh, i have a problem! i have just built myself my first PC, i've put in a 120gb OCZ vertex 3 SSD and a 2tb WD caviar HDD and while i was able to detect both drives in device manager and both claim to be working properly, the Caviar doesn't show up in My Computer or windows explorer at all, so there is no way i can access it for storage. I've set it up in IDE mode as the asus bios instructions instruct, any protips?
here's the tl/dr: how do i make a hard drive appear in windows explorer?

@BrEnNo1023 IDE mode? That's not right... Should be in SATA. IDE is the name for the interface used in older drives (aka PATA). It IS using a SATA connection, right?
Let me know if that works.

@myamericanpie The only skills you need is knowing what parts are compatible with each other and how to put it all together without damaging your $1000 investment.

What case is that, that you're using? Its neat, no applying screws, just clamping the drives and heatsinks into place. :)

@kpaznflyboix that would be the Cooler Master Mystique 632S. It's a bit old by now, but you might find something similar.
