  • i dont know what it is about 1:37-2:01 that always grabs my heart and gives it life

  • My two favorite songs on the album are "Ice on her lashes" and "Flags". The strings are breathtaking.

  • @toexposedthefakes If you knew anything about her last album, it was so emotionally taxing she quit music for awhile. She wrote some more light-hearted songs to make it possible to tour & play. "Something in the water" is a love song dedicated to & written with her husband. This album is filled with love & passion, addressing suffering & grief as well as love & joy. Crows and locusts is a biblical parable and ends with "nothing but the blood". You should listen before you judge, obvious u didn't

  • @toexposedthefakes Have you actually listened to the songs on this album, they're filled with the presence of God? The song "Flags" brings me to my knees every single time. "Flags" is a song about those who suffer, but it is also a song calling people to stop being "apathetic" and "dormant" and to go out and do something, live as Christ did. She ends the song by answering the question as to why innocent people suffer with scripture from Matthew. "Ice on her lashes" is about dealing with grief.

you make me sick, do you really think she has left god and her Christianity for the gain of MONEY?! In my opinion, she sent a message to god with these songs, slowing me down. making me listen to her words, feel her thoughts. God has never been more close to me than now, I think you should re think what you just said.
