Yes, it is a combination of the XNA Platformer, Game State Management, and Tiled Map Editor samples.

Hmm nice. U should have some shooting sound effect even if it is a silence rifle. Check out my xna game on my page.

This was an alpha version of the game. It had some sound effects, but not everything was finalized at that point.
