http://www.knme.org - Once a drummer from the 80s and 90s grunge scene playing with bands like The Screaming Trees, Mad Season, and REM, Barret moved on to become an ethnomusicologist, studying music with indigenous peoples from all over the world. He has created the group Tuatara with his own music taking a turn towards jazz. Barrett is also an ordained Zen priest in the Soto tradition and founder of the world music label, Fast Horse Recording. Spend a spontaneous, rhythmic moment with Barrett in this latest Artisode.

Barret, your playing captures the spirit of the time. After countless shows, your grace a fluidity is instilled in my playing. Great inspiration man!
