What a great story teller, and fiddler to top it off. I really appreciate that he doesn't play it in the conventional ways, but still gets a good sound. It inspires me to let go of my Classical grip, and embrace some different fiddling methods.

Benton Flippen was my neighbor for a few years, until December '09! I helped him once when he was locked out of his house :) He is an incredible musician

Fantastic! I can never duplicate Mr. Benton's wonderful style, but at 2:07 there is a neat little jig that I will put on my ipod and see if I can pickup a little. Many thanks for posting this!
