Some of you say this is NOT Kendo. You are wrong. But right. This WAS Kendo! "Original Kendo" had several grappling/wrestling techniques. Just look at the clip "Kendo - You asked for it" here on youtube and you will see the legstrafe "for real". "Modern" kendo is as you say, free of grappling.

This is Original Kendo.......meaning BEFORE World War 2. These teachings have been banned for a long time for a certain reason.
