  • @MrJUNE224 I think I have some of that will have to test it out.

  • You know what i used to make my car look chrome up, I have BMF but I also used the tape to cover dryer vent it call metal foil tape . it work almost as good as B.M.F and i got a roll at a 1.00 store.. lol..I chrome everything now..lol.I love to walk into dollar store a buy stuff. i once bought 50" inch rim for my DONK Model from a ugly car..

  • good video, just a little dark tho. It does get the point across tho, thanks !

  • I have an idea: Have you tried putting rubber cement on the part to be chromed...and then cutting the strip from regular aluminum foil?...apply it the same way you did the bare metal foil...trim excess the same. AFTER THE RUBBER CEMENT DRIES. The beauty is...you can rub off the excess rubber cement... Yeah, it's thicker...but will work for some places...

  • Good video' just need a little more light. Good job.

  • Great Video... i have been experimenting with this foil on a B-47 model and have found a #11 surgical scalpel blade with a #7 handle is better than x-acto equipment and a bamboo skewer wrapped with teflon tape works better than a cotton swab(for me anyway)..super glue works well on the weird edges also...thanks for the tips!

  • Lol wow I never seen that b4 a double sided car two moters at first I thot I was tripn. But ur vid is great I learned alot not to much people would take the time to do this so detailed for people... Ur a koo guy

  • A great tutorial (I have that Chevelle model, but I'll be building it as a wagon lol) there - I have experimented with bare metal foil (certain Japanese Aoshima 1/24 model car kits seem to come with it) - i will say that a good modelling knife helps. I haven't used it extensively as yet on my American car builds, for the time being I painted in the crevases of the windows carefully with chrome paint applied to a small brush!

  • this is what I need THX so much

  • thank god for all you guys who bmf.. because if i had to do my own cars? I would quit building and collecting all together....
