Perkins: Being green promotes abortion & homosexuality.

Pro-environment Evangelical Seminary Student Johnathan Merrit is rebuked by Family Research Council president Tony Perkins, who says the Environmentalist movement promotes abortion and homosexuality. He also unwittingly acknowledges that global warming is REAL but they don't want to stop it because it only delays "the Second Coming".

Perkins says you should prepare to be Raptured, not "throw away the keys to your SUV and jump on the Al Gore bandwagon."

It's not a question of whether or not global warming is happening or not. It's whether it is caused by human civilizations or if it is nature's cycle of warming and cooling. That is the debate and while it's fine with me if those who would like to spend trillions on trying to prevent global warming from occuring

want to spend their own money toward the effort - just don't legislate another tax on the already overtaxed millions of people who do not agree.

Other than being off-topic, your comment is also lacking in perspective.

While you can ague whether the threat is man made or not, the urgency at which it must be dealt with is not in question.

It is like arguing over whether you are dying of a bullet wound or the resulting infection. Either way, if something is not done quickly, the patent will die. And whether or not your tax dollars should be spent on something that benefits you, is not up for debate.

Many of these preachers are worth 100 times what Job was worth. That's greed, luxury, excess, materialism and worldliness. Their pattern of behavior mirrors that of the Pharisees(who had Christ killed). They cast aside the core Christian values of : Love, mercy, forgiveness, humility and meekness.
