Clark Howard comes to Dayton

Larry Hansgen host of Miami Valley Morning News on WHIO AM/FM hosted the national consumer advocate Clark Howard at the E.J. Nutter Center on the Wright State University Campus.

From Atlanta, Georgia, comes the "consumer warrior" Clark Howard. He is from the sister station WSB-AM, a radio affiliate to Cox Media, Enterprises. In the middays on most affiliates he starts his show at 1pm - 4pm after libertarian/conservative talk show host Neal Boortz.

On HLN [CNN's Headline News], Clark Howard host his consumer program during the weekends and a consumer minute during Morning Express with Robin Meade.

Big Book of Bargains and his Get Clark Smart series were of his most popular books in which it created his trademark mottos, "Get Clark Smart!", "Save More, Spend Less and Avoid Getting Ripped Off!"

Clark Howard is really proud to be called "cheap!" He became a millionaire in his late 20s. He told many stories about his quest to save money. He is known to wear shorts, walk at least five miles to avoid a costly parking space, and always buys his clothes from thrift stores on discount days!

He's good friends with conservative talk show host Sean Hannity. When any talk show hosts ask him about his political affiliations, Clark avoids talking about his political views!
