Carrying red and white Turkish flags and wearing red and white, thousands of Turkish-Americans gathered in New York to attend the 27th Turkish Day Parade and Festival last weekend.
The crowd met at the corner of 56th Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan to march to Turkish House.
Turkish State Minister Mustafa Said Yazicioglu, Turkish Ambassador to United States Nabi Shensoy, Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party Deputy Chairman Egemen Bagish and several other high level Turkish officials attended the parade and the festival held in Dag Hammarjold Park next to Turkish House.
Other Turkish related groups such as Ahiskans, Azeris, Bulgarians and Turkistans supported the Parade
Turkish State Minister Recep Onal ,Turkish Consulate Mehmet Samsar, Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party, parlimanterians UN officials as well as Turkish officials attend the parade and the festival.
Several Turkish singers held concerts at the park and groups coming from Turkiye performed folk dance shows.
