A dub comparison from the chapter 120 from Dragon Ball Z. This time you'll see the scene "Trunks kill Freeza" on the following languages:
Japanese
Mexico Spanish (Used on Latin America)
US English
German
Hungarian
Italian

I had to use KINO, a DV editing program on Linux... Because Windows Movie Maker, simply crash.

  • @VJ122333 Hehe, Mexican dub it's better than you could think, almost all spanish dub for Latin Americas audiences is made in Mexico. Every country have a different accent of spanish, so mexican dub enterprises uses a 'neutral spanish' to break this barrier. DBZ have a good acceptation in whole Latin America thanks to this dub and their voice actors.

Spain have their own dub, but their version of DBZ is very bad.

  • Japanese and Mexican version are the best bc they sound so intense, have you guys ever heard gohan scream when he turns SSJ2 against cell in Japanese a d Mex version? Japanese version mixed it with an ozaru scream and Mexican one put an awesome echo effect, I dont like the English version soundtracks, originals ones were far better

  • so everyone uses Kikuchi and Yamamoto but Funimation and Ocean dub. Jap music's not good enough for us? At least Funi has the the decency to use the original soundtrack for Dragonball and Kai.

  • You could've put the Brasilian dub as well \o/

  • @tami0027

    They're all awesome voiceactors

  • HungarianCast:

King Cold - Botár Endre (he was the voice of Major Toht (IJ)

Frieza - Cs. Németh Lajos ( he is the voice of Herbert the pervert(FG) too

Trunks - Szokol Péter (he is the hungarian voice of Randy Marsh(SP)

  • Italian is the only european version that imported DBZ directly from the Japan, they added some lines in the dialogues, changed a pair of names (Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Daimao and Kamehameha here are Junior, Tensing, Al Satan and Energy wawe) and removed some bad words, but actually the script is the same as the japanese and it's a pretty decent version taking in consideration the rest of the Europe, but original Funimation version is impossible to beat.

  • The latino dub ranks up very high ;)!!!

  • ENGLISH SUCKS SOOOO MUCH

  • @deityofanimee Naruto isnt dubbed by funimation, its dubbed by VIZ.
