Birth place New Rochelle New York in 1981. He grew up half of his life in Haiti which made him aware of his descendant's poverty. He grew up listening to all kinds of music, but his first love was in kompa which is Haitian music. Later he stumbled across a Notorious B.I.G. Ready to die tape and fell in love with Hip Hop. Then in 1995 he began free-styling in middle school during lunch time where he got appraised by his peers for his rapping ability. He discover his talent for saying ill rhymes, so he pursued it. Later he moved to Haiti where he joined several Haitian rap group. Impressed by wyclef's ability to play multiple instruments he began doing the same. Later him and a friend decided to start their own Hip Hop group by the name of 3 OF US, later the name changed into Impulse. They had got a deal with an independent label, but delay in recording the album cause it never to get complete. P-riot then decided to leave rap alone and finish school, but still kept writing lyrics during his time off. After completing high school he moved to Florida and began attending university, but the sudden death of his father caused him to question life and it's purposes. He founded his self back in the studio this time recording his solo album which was released in January 2003. He then invested in owning his own studio and began working on his sophomore LP which was released in September 2004. His third album was released in July 2005, following the release of his fourth album in December 2005. P-riot has a deep belief that we can changed the world starting with the youth, if we can set aside our differences and working consistently on building our future's positively especially all black Brothers. He also pledges to give back to his community and start a Foundation for underprivileged in Haiti. His goal is to awaken the world's awareness of the harsh life conditions in third world countries and maybe become an advocate for the hopeless or an philanthropist.
