Hey, live dangerously and enjoy!! Happy Holidays.

I agree, and the fact that she was holding a little too tightly to the reigns did not help the horse either. The horse needs the freedom of its head in order to prevent serious injury from occuring and to have better balance so that it may watch itself and its footing, and if it starts to get out of hand on her, all she has to do is the one reign stop.

@no1horselover dude, canter, gallop, who cares! look at the video for the pleasure and the beauty of it, not for how well the paces were named! silly

@lonewolfintheprowl hehehe, well for your info, there was actually a small ridge of sand there, so she couldn't have seen it anyways, and also, there was a guy fishing 100m further, and she has no bit in her mouth, so need a little more force, added to the fact she's a PRE x arabian, and when you let go of the reins, she bolts. so yeah, quite the contrary, me holding them tight pulled her hear out of the water, kept me on, and avoided her falling over... all ended well... ;)

But thats because of us, if they lived in their natural habitat/country and we didn't bring arab horses around into the cold weather, there wouldn't be a worry. ha ha They were made for the Arabian heat. Not cold weather. But as far as i'm concerned I've never seen a horse happier than when it is outside. It really maked a difference on a horses quality of life on whether you decide to keep your horse indoors or outdoors.
reminds me of part of a song "...riding bareback carefree along the shore..." by natasha betingfield
