Continued: We had beautiful fires all last winter. This year we had him come back again to sweep it, and everything was still great. Gary and his guys are friendly, professional and honest. His prices are very good. It would have been very easy for any chimney sweep to come in that first time and tell us that all sorts of things were wrong (and we would have believed it).

@MediaWatchDawg We use Gary & we live in a home where it wouldn't have been easy for a sweep to convince us of all sorts of bad things (1970's home, not wonderfully constructed, & the previous owners obviously abused the fireplace). 2 summers ago, Gary came in, cleaned it up, installed a new chimney cap. He assured us that everything was in proper working order. He educated us on how to build & burn a proper wood fire (we'd always had gas before this home). We use our fireplace all the time.

I realize that the previous 3 posts are probably written by children, but I would appreciate it if you would write a review when you know something about the business or it's owner/owners. And, "MediaWatchDawg", you are doing the public no good when you generalize or stereotype people that work in any industry. There are crooked car salesmen, crooked doctors, etc. Promoting any stereotype can be harmful. You seem needy for attention.
